Anti-Inflammatory Bone Broth - Nutrition With Maya

I went to a cooking class where I learnt how to make a simple bone broth. It was so much fun! Bone broth has great anti-inflammatory elements and so is perfect and delicious if you are suffering from any inflammation.

Anti-Inflammatory Bone Broth

This is a very simple yet effective way to make the bone broth:

Ingredients:

  • 2.5lb chicken bones (you can use other animal bones but chicken is the quickest)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 8 cups water
  • 1tsp apple cider vinegar

Method:

Chop all vegetables, dump in your saucepan, bring to the boil and then simmer for 24 hours. If you don't like the idea of having something on the stove for 24 hours and you have a pressure cooker, you can get this done in 30-50 minutes. Just turn the dial to high pressure and make sure the pot is on a high-heat burner. Once you've got your bone broth, you're ready to make your yummy, super easy, anti-inflammatory bone broth soup!
